Emergency Lighting & Testing

In accordance with National Construction Code (NCC) in Australia, certain classes of buildings including commercial and government buildings requires working emergency lighting throughout.

This includes working exit signs that are clearly visible and emergency lights at regular intervals around a building that illuminates the egress path out of the building.

To ensure safety and compliance all lights must be tested every 6 months to ensure they run for 90 minutes on battery by simulating a loss of power.

As certified and qualified emergency lighting electricans we can undertake this work in accordance with AS2293.1
